Hope for Henderson
Our City is at a pivotal point in its history and needs engaged and unselfish leadership.
Our City is at a pivotal point in its history and needs engaged and unselfish leadership.
Greg was born at Maria Parham hospital, stayed in Henderson until college, and then pursued a career and life throughout the Southeastern US until returning in 2019 to purchase Gupton Services, a 100 year old contracting business based in downtown Henderson. That was the biggest investment of his life and one of the best decisions he has ever made. That decision and corresponding transaction intertwined his family’s livelihood with Henderson’s future.
Greg has embraced this City as a business owner, civic leader, donor, and volunteer. He loves its history, his connection, and its people. With his leadership as Mayor and with your support for the next four years in Henderson, we will experience more Safety, we will strengthen our Community, and Opportunity will return.
We will bring Hope back to Henderson!
Last summer after the Gate City shooting, Greg, in collaboration with other concerned citizens drafted the attached letter and submitted to the Henderson City Council. This letter along with the video, capture Greg's burden for his hometown and his vision for how to improve
Community, Safety, and Opportunity for all citizens of Henderson.
